Local Support for Local Families
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
V for Victory was created to be a support system for local families who are fighting cancer. We assess the needs of each family who signs up with us, as they are all different. We will help each family, or individual, with as much as we can while they are undergoing treatment for cancer. These needs include, but are not limited to: bill pay, home and auto services, pet care, groceries, meals, and self care.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to simply make the lives easier of those afflicted by cancer. Whether it's the person who is living with cancer, their family, or caregiver, we try and go above and beyond for each person we assist. We know that once you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer or admitted into the hospital for treatment, your priorities shift and you are now focused on adjusting to your new normal. We help take some of the "everyday life burdens" off these families so they can focus on what matters most.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
V for Victory has partnered with over 100 local businesses in order to maximize the donations we receive. These businesses are asked to provide a good or service to one family, one time a month, at the very most. If a business owner would like to partner with us, but is unable to donate their good or service, then we ask that they give it to us at cost. Because of all these local partnerships, we have been able to assist our families with so much more than we ever thought possible.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are partnered with a local restaurant, that has six locations, and they help with all our fundraising and marketing efforts. This partnership helps us achieve our goals of assisting these families with anything they need, at no cost to them.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have held two small yet successful events, as well as raised quite a bit of money through all the V Pizza restaurants. We have assisted families with household bills, auto repair, deep home cleanings, lawn services, pet care, a countless number of meals, groceries and shopping, Christmas gifts, clothing, furniture, and the list could go on.
We are currently working on two events for the fall; an art auction on August 4 and a First Responder event on October 6. In the meantime, we will continue fundraising through the restaurants and help as many local families fighting cancer, as possible.
